Nominations were accepted at the summer village shop today from 10 – noon, and we have only received 2 nominations for council but we need a minimum of 3 nominees to form a council.
Nominations will be accepted again tomorrow (Sunday) at the village shop from 10am to noon, this will repeat for up to 6 days or until we receive the minimum of 3 nominations.
Reminder – if we do not get enough nominees to form a council, then we can lose our status as a summer village and we would become part of the county with all decisions regarding our community managed by the Lac Ste Anne county council.
If you are at all interested in having an active role in the future of our summer village, please consider joining council and submit your nomination papers. If you have any questions, you can contact any of the current council. Contact information is available here:
