April 30th, 2024Re: Update: Byelection 2024 – Election by AcclamationFurther to the preliminary update issued by the municipality following the conclusion of Nomination Day on April 27th, 2024, we can now report that Byelection 2024 for the Summer Village of Nakamun Park has been concluded with an Election by Acclamation. While two nominations had been received as part of the nomination process, since that time one nominee has withdrawn their papers and as a result the remaining candidate is declared elected by acclamation.The Official Notice of Nomination Day Results and Election by Acclamation Declaration is attached for more information, and same can be found on the municipal Byelection 2024 website tab for future reference. As the election is now concluded, there will be no voting on May 18th, 2024 or May 25th, 2024.
