Snow Plowing

It is still snowing steady here in the village (Fri, Dec 13), we plan to have the village roads graded tomorrow morning. As of this morning the county roads leading to the village are not plowed, we do not know when the county plans to plow them.

After the roads are graded in the village we will look at the windrows left behind in driveways and determine whether the grader is doing a sufficient job at removing windrows from driveways with the snow gate, or if we need to figure out a way to clear them after the grader has finished. Stay tuned.

Update on plowing – the village roads have all been plowed, we are still working out the kinks in clearing windrows out of driveways though.

As of last night, Range Road 23 (west side of village) had been cleared by the county, Range Road 21 (east side of village) was not yet cleared to the village.

Road update as of last night (Dec 29):

• highways leading to Nakamun Park were plowed (including hwy 777 north of Onoway and hwy 642 west through Sandy Beach)
• roads leading into west side of Nakamun Park were not plowed (twp road 560 going west of hwy 777, range road 23 north to Nakamun Park)

We will be plowing the Nakamun Park village roads Dec 31 during the day.

If anyone has updates, please let me know and I will continue to post the current road conditions.
