Removing trees from Village property

Residents are allowed to remove fallen trees from village property (green belts, Ted Macdonald Park), however you are not allowed to cut standing trees from village property. We have reports of standing trees recently being cut down from Ted Macdonald park, this is not permitted. Standing trees can be removed only if approved by the Summer Village Maintenance Manager or a member of the Summer Village council.
