Re:       FortisAlberta – Notice of Regional Power Outages 

 

If reference to the noted subject, please be advised that FortisAlberta is reporting several regional power outages in the greater Lac Ste. Anne – Parkland area. Included in this listing is the Nakamun Lake region, and specifically the Summer Village of Nakamun Park. These outages are primarily due to downed power lines resulting from the wind storms over the past few days/nights.

ForitsAlberta has crews in the field now and the they are working hard to address the issue. However, due to the magnitude of the response required, they are asking for communities in the impacted area to be prepared for intermittent power for the rest of the day (July 25, 2023) and possibly into the following day (July 26th, 2023). FortisAlberta apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates your patience and understanding as they work through the area.
