Nakamun Park 50th Anniversary Events

It’s our 50th Anniversary. Let’s celebrate. Mark Saturday, July 23, 2016 on your calendar.

A volunteer committee has begun planning the event. All plans are TENTATIVE.

8 a.m. Best Ball Golf Tournament at Paddle River Gold Course, Barrhead

Noon Parade. Plan a family float or find a 60s automobile to ride. Decorate your golf carts, quads, bicycles, horses. Be creative.

Afternoon activities for kids and adults in the park.

6:00 catered dinner, with Anniversary cake, and presentations.

Evening dance.

Plan to attend. If any of you can support us financially or with contacts you may have, please reply.

Regarding the events planned for the 50th anniversary, all of the activities except the golf game are planned to be held at the summer village. The planning committee is arranging to have party tents set up and the majority of the activities will be held at Ted Macdonald Park.
