Re: Nakamun Oasis Area Structure Plan (New Application)
The Summer Village of Nakamun Park has received a referral from Lac Ste. Anne County regarding a new application which has been made for an Area Structure Plan on lands within the county, adjacent to Nakamun Lake. This Area Structure Plan, as with previous versions, is meant to accommodate the proposed Nakamun Oasis Campground and RV Park. As compared with earlier versions of the proposal,
the Area Structure Plan currently presented has a few changes, including a reduced site count (from 80 sites to 40), but in general retains similar discussion points. Nakamun Park Council is currently reviewing this document and intends to send in a submission outlining any concerns that arise during this review. A copy of the proposed Area Structure Plan is attached, or can be obtained by contacting Lac Ste. Anne County.We thank Lac Ste. Anne County for their continued effort in seeking comments from the greater lake community. If residents wish to submit comments, for or against the proposal, to Lac Ste. Anne County for consideration during this process, they may do so. The deadline for submissions is June 26th, 2019. Comments should be sent to Andrew Chell, Development Planner at achell@lsac.ca.
