After the storms blew through and many residents lost boat dock, etc, there is still a TON of debris floating in the water which is extremely dangerous.
Today (Sunday, Aug 6) on their way back from the waterski course, my husband and brother pulled a very large amount of heavy debris (see photos) out of the lake and we find it a bit hard to believe that no one else over the past couple of weeks has seen any of this in their boating recreation time on the lake as its been busy on the water. Hitting any of these heavy pieces could result in serious injury and do a lot of damage to a boat.
This was one haul today. How much more is floating beneath the surface? The giveaway was that the birds were standing on it in the lake so just a reminder for everyone to be on the look out and take debris out of the water as soon as you see it.
