July 10th, 2024Re: Fire Ban Declaration – Effective July 10th, 2024Please be advised that a complete Fire Ban is now declared for the Summer Village of Nakamun Park, effective 12:00noon July 10th, 2024. The ban will remain in place until further notice.As outlined in Fire Services Bylaw 2024-2 (Sections 34 and 35)
- All existing outdoor wood burning heating, cooking and recreational fires must be extinguished, and no new fires can be lit,
- All fire permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued,
- Natural gas, propane, charcoal/briquette fires for the purpose of outdoor heating or cooking are not affected by this ban and remain a permitted use at this time.
