We have received 6 nominations for the up-coming summer village election, this is a great show of support from residents.

The list of registered nominees are (in alphabetical order):

• Martin Tabak

Thanks to all of the nominees for putting their names forward for our summer village council.

At the annual summer village meeting on July 8, each of the candidates will have the opportunity (not required) to speak to the summer village residents for a maximum of 5 minutes. This will not be a debate or question and answer session, only the nominees speaking. Following the meeting, you can meet the candidates and ask your questions. This is a great opportunity to meet the nominees prior to elections.

As a reminder of dates related to the election:

• Summer Village Annual Meeting July 8, 10:00am – noon
  We will be holding the annual summer village meeting at the maintenance shop, this is a great opportunity to meet the nominees.
• Advance Poll July 14, 4:00pm – 8:00pm
  Advance poll will be held at the St Albert Inn in St Albert
• Election Day July 22, 10:00am – 7:00pm
  Elections will be held at the Summer Village maintenance shop
