Reminder: Boat Launch Closed Until Further Notice

Further to the earlier email notification, please be advised that the Nakamun Park boat launch will remain closed until further notice. This restriction will include May long weekend (May 17th, 2019 though May 20th, 2019). We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through the permit approvals and repair process.

If you require access to the lake, please consider using Four Oakes boat launch located at
SE 35-56-02 W5M (east of the Summer Village of Nakamun Park) in Lac Ste. Anne County.

Thank you for your continued cooperation.

    Historical Lake Level Information

Please note the attached report prepared by Alberta Environment. This report details the changes in lake levels on Nakamun Lake over the last several decades, with a specific review of the previous year (2018). A big thanks to Bill Burrell who keeps us connected to this information and helps environment staff set-up and record this data.
