Re: New Online CPO Bylaw Enforcement Complaint Form
The Summer Village of Nakamun Park contracts Community Peace Officer services through the Town of Mayerthorpe for the purpose of general bylaw enforcement (noise, traffic, parking, fireworks, etc.). Our assigned CPO is Officer Gervais Kasamba.
Traditionally, any complaints directed to the CPO needed to be either phoned in, or emailed, either directly to the CPO, or through the administration office. Recently, the Town of Mayerthorpe created an online complaint form, and as a client of this service, our summer village now has access to this same reporting channel. While the traditional phone and email contacts remain in place, this new online form is hoped to be a bit more convenient for everyone – especially for after hours and weekend reporting.
A link to this new online complaint submission page is listed below, but you can also find access on the updated section of the Contact page of the website (under the Your Government tab) for future reference.
Of course, any reports of criminal activity should continue to be directed toward the local RCMP, and development/assessment/taxation/administrative matters have their own designated officers and reporting process to be mindful of (independent of the CPO bylaw enforcement process).
The new bylaw complaint form can be found here: Omnigo Software – Online Reporting Main
If you have any questions regarding this new form of the complaint process in general, feel free to contact the administration office to discuss.
Thank you,
Administration
