Re: Family Day Weekend at Nakamun Park
As we all take time to celebrate Family Day (February 19th, 2024), Council reminds those gathered in the municipality this long weekend to have fun and be respectful when sharing community amenities. While there will be no formal activities hosted by the Summer Village, patrons are welcome to use the skating ice, curling ice, and the toboggan slide at the end of 4th Street. Access to the lake area can be arranged via the boat launch.
As always these community amenities are “Use At Your Own Risk.” Please be safe and mindful of other patrons in the community and on the lake.
Thank you to our community volunteers for constructing and maintaining these amenities for us all to enjoy.
