Celebrate Alberta Day in Nakamun Park – Sept. 2nd, 2023

The Summer Village is happy to announce that we will have Alberta Day events on Saturday, Sept. 2nd, 2023. We are hosting a hotdog lunch in Ted MacDonald park starting at 12:00noon. Also a Fun Fair for kids ages 12 and under, starting at 12:30pm. Both will run until 1:30pm or 2:00pm.

However we need VOLUNTEERS to run the fair and help with the lunch, as follows:

• 2 volunteers for set up at 11:30am.
• 2 volunteers to cook hotdogs.
• 2 volunteers to clean up at the end.
• 2 volunteers to bring their barbecue to the park.
• 8 volunteers for the fun fair, including Henry Hanssen will do a fishing game for ages 6 and under, Adrienne Zenko will do face painting, Andrea Hanssen will do Ring Toss.

Please call or text Marge at 587-986-7885 as soon as possible to join the volunteer list and help up.

Hot dog lunch is free. Tickets for the fun fair will be 20 tickets for $1. Prizes are 5 cents, 25 cents and loonies. Bring your own beverage and lawn chairs.
