Upcoming Activities & Events in the Summer Village of Nakamun Park

The Annual Information Meeting (AIM) is scheduled for Saturday July 22nd, 2023, beginning at 10 a.m. in Ted MacDonald Park, weather permitting. The meeting will begin at 10:00am and is a chance for Council to update the community on municipal initiatives over the past year and planned for the current season. The weather is supposed to be nice so bring a chair and a beverage, grab a doughnut, and we’ll see you at the meeting!

Following the AIM, you’re invited to join in the community baseball game. Later that evening, at 6:30pm, the Summer Village will host Music in the Park for everyone who wants to come out and listen to some great tunes and share some laughs with your friends and neighbours. This year’s musical talent will be Sugar and Spice ! Again, please remember to bring your lawn chairs.

On Sunday July 23rd, 2023 from 10:00am through 2:00pm the Community Garage Sale will be in full swing. Feel free to set out your wares and join in the fun. Please be mindful of sellers, bargain hunters and community shoppers on the road ways during this busy event.

On Saturday July 29th, 2023, the community is is welcoming the first annual “Trick or Treat in the Heat” from 7:00pm through 9:00pm. Have a look at the community signs for additional details, and start working on your costumes today! All the regular rules of Halloween apply – be extra safe and watch out for the trick or treaters, have lots of candy ready at the door, and prepare to be spooked!
