Re: Summer Village of Nakamun Park- Fire Ban Declaration – Effective Immediately
Please be advised that the Summer Village of Nakamun Park has now declared a full fire ban for the municipality.
This ban is in line with our regional partners and is made in consultation with our fire service provider. This ban includes a complete prohibition of all outdoor open flames, fireworks, fire pits – including screened fire pits, burn barrels/incinerators, and charcoal briquette barbecues. In addition, all fire permits are suspended or cancelled, and no new fire permits will be issued at this time.
Only gas and propane appliances such as barbecues, stoves, and gas/propane fire pits are allowed.
These restrictions will remain in place until further notice. Thank you for your cooperation in observing this fire ban.
