As part of the Government of Albert’s Stronger Foundations Initiative, the Lac Ste. Anne Foundation is undertaking a regional needs assessment. This assessment will focus on understanding the current capacity and accessibility of housing for low and moderate income Albertans. The assessment will be used to help in the development of Alberta’s 10-year strategy to improve and expand affordable housing throughout the province.
An initial step in this assessment process is community engagement. Attached are details on the dates, times, and location of a series of engagement sessions in the Onoway area. The Summer Village of Nakamun Park is included in this invitation, and Council encourages anyone impacted or interested in this initiative to participate. You can share your thoughts in the survey linked to the invitation, in person at the events, or through the contact provided.
