Be aware that there has been a break-in in the Summer Village, a shed on Nakamun Drive was broken into and items stolen. Please secure your property and be aware of strangers in the village.
Community Notice: Reported Crime Occurrence – January 9th, 2023
Residents and property owners,
Please be advised that over the past weekend our office has been made aware of a break-in and theft occurrence in the Summer Village of Nakamun Park. The incident occurred on a residential property in the community and is now being investigated by law enforcement.
We remind all residents and property owners to be vigilant in monitoring and report suspicious activity, particularly during the ‘off-season.’ Please also take a moment to secure your property and processions, including taking measures to deter theft (such as keeping high-value and popular items out of plain sight, locking doors and installing security lights/cameras).
The Summer Village of Nakamun Park forms part of the Parkland Regional RCMP service area. If you have a crime or suspicious activity to report, please contact the Parkland Detachment at 1-825-220-2000.
